Refund Policy

All sales are final. Digital Discord roles and perks are delivered automatically after payment. We do not offer refunds in the normal course of business.

Digital content and your right of withdrawal

Every product sold through DonateBot is digital content delivered immediately after payment (a Discord role or perk). At checkout, you explicitly confirm that you want this content delivered right away and that you understand this waives any statutory cooling-off period. For buyers in the European Union / EEA, this reflects Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU: the 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content does not apply once you have given this consent and delivery has begun. This does not affect any other mandatory consumer protection you may have.

No refunds (default)

• Buyer’s remorse or “I changed my mind”
• Role not wanted after purchase
• Leaving the Discord server after buying
• Misunderstanding of the product description published by the server owner

Subscriptions

Some products bill monthly. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals — it does not refund the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until that period ends. Cancel from the server’s shop or by contacting the server owner before your next renewal date to avoid being charged again.

Rare exceptions

A refund may be considered only in exceptional cases, for example:

• Proven double charge or clear billing error on our side
• Payment succeeded but the role was never delivered due to a confirmed DonateBot / platform failure (not Discord hierarchy or missing bot permissions)
• Where mandatory consumer law in your country requires a remedy

Server owners may choose to refund a buyer via their payment dashboard at their own discretion; DonateBot does not guarantee or fund those refunds. Platform fees already collected are generally non-refundable.

Recognizing your charge

Card charges appear on your bank or card statement prefixed with our business name and suffixed with the seller’s Discord server name — for example, something like “DONATEBOT* THE EMPIRE”. If a charge looks unfamiliar, check for the server name before contacting your bank: it is usually the fastest way to recognize a purchase you made from your phone or a friend’s account. If you still don’t recognize it, contact us below before opening a dispute with your bank — most “unrecognized charge” cases are resolved faster and without fees this way.

How to request an exception review

Open a ticket on the DonateBot Discord with your Discord ID, server name, approximate purchase time, and payment receipt. We aim to respond within 5 business days; approval is not guaranteed.

Before completing any purchase, you are asked to confirm you have read this policy and our Terms of Service, and that you consent to immediate delivery of digital content. We keep a record of that confirmation together with your purchase and delivery timestamps.
